Spasskaya Tower - facing the Red Square is one of the 20 towers of the Moscow Kremlin. In the tower are the main gates of the Kremlin - Spassky, in a tent set the famous clock tower - Glockenspiel.
The tower was built in 1491 during the reign of Ivan III architect Pietro Antonio Solari, as evidenced by the white stone slab with commemorative inscriptions, mounted on the tower itself.
