Ravens of the Tower of London
The first Royal Observatory was located in the north eastern turret(tower) of the White Tower. Legend has it that John Flamsteed, the ‘astronomical observatory’ complained to King Charles II that the birds we're disturbing him. The King therefore ordered their destruction only to be told that if the ravens left the Tower, the White Tower would fall and a great disaster happens to the Kingdom. Later, the King changed his mind and said that at least six ravens should be kept at the Tower at all times to prevent disaster.

The Sherlock Holmes museum
The world famous detective Sherlock Holmes lived at 221b Baker Street between 1881-1904, according to the stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Mr Holmes shared his rooms with his loyal friend and colleague Dr Watson and the house is protected by the government due to its "special architectural and historical interest." The 1st floor study overlooking Baker Street is faithfully by Mrs Hudson in Victorian Times!
