Five loaves of bread
An Old Indian Tale One day on his way home Shovkat meet his old friend Ahmed. Shovkat have five loaves of brown bread in his shopping-bag. Ahmed looks at the loaves and asks: “Why have you got so many loaves? You are only two.”“I’ll tell you why I buy five loaves every day. With two loaves I pay my debt. The other two loaves I lend. And the fifth loaf is for my wife and me”. “I don’t quite get you,” answers Ahmed. “Explain it to me, please.”“All right. Look here! I buy two loaves for my old parents, the other two loaves – for my children and the fifth – for my wife and myself.” “Now everything is clear. You are a wise man”, say Ahmed.

Tick-tack, tick-tick The clock goes quick And you are growing Strong and big. The minutes gone Will not return And you still have So much to learn. You have so much To do ahead And you play Lazily instead. Tick-tick, tick-tick, Tick-tick, tick-tack The hours gone Will not come back. So try to do well All you can To grow a wise and Clever man.
