    Nauryz Holiday

    Nauryz - is the most important holiday of the year as the Kazakhs, and many of the peoples of Asia, which is celebrated over five thousand years. Nauryz is a holiday of renewal and spring. It is also called as eastern New Year.  This holiday represents not only spring renewal but also friendship, love and fertility. By that holiday people cleaned their houses putting everything at its place, reconciled and ceased all fights and wars. Merrymaking, joy and peace are prevailing on that day.

    The Kazakh celebrate Nauryz in the same manner as other oriental peoples but they have their own individualities. The main dish of the holiday is nauryz-koje or nauryzdyk which consists of seven ingredients symbolizing vital elements. The number 7 is a fortunate number for the Kazakh that is why many festive ceremonies are connected with it. During celebration of Nauryz, the Kazakh visit their friends and relatives. Contest of folk singers – akyns who glorify Nauryz in their songs are also held during the holiday celebration in Kazakhstan.

    Kurbanbayram

    In 2013, the festival of sacrifice KurbanBayram (KurbanAit) will be celebrated October 15-18. KurbanBayram (Kurban-Ait) - festival of sacrifice for the sake of God. This is the biggest Muslim holiday. It is celebrated from the 10th to the 13th of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah of the Muslim calendar. The sacred history of Islam distinguishes Prophet Ibrahim, who became an example for future generations of believers. One of the highlights of his life was the beginning of a centuries-old religious tradition - the rite of sacrifice for the sake of the One God.

    KurbanAit (KurbanBayram) - it is a day of sacrifice to Allah. Celebrate the Day of Sacrifice begins early in the morning. With the dawn of the Muslims go to the mosque for morning prayers, wearing clean, neat clothing. Before the prayer is not recommended. At the end of prayer, believers are coming home.

    Ramazan and Oraza

    Ramazan - the best time for spiritual purification, redemption and recognition of greatness, the grace and mercy of Allah. This month Allah sent to mankind Koran, which says: "This is the month when a man must to distinguish black from white. Everyone should keep in this month Oraza, but if a person is ill or on a journey, then he can continue following Oraza on other days ".

    For every Muslim in the religion of Islam has five duties, one of which is fasting Oraza during the holy month of Ramadan. Oraza to keep every sane person who has reached the age of puberty. From a religious point of view of puberty for boys mature in 12 years, girls - at age 9. Every believer in this month should devote himself to spiritual perfection, during daylight hours to abstain from food and water, but most importantly, it is a spiritual cleansing, to show tolerance for anything and everything, learn to forgive offenses and not to hurt other people, and of course read the Koran.
