Geographical position
New Zealand - is an island country in the south- western Pacific Ocean , about one in the south- east of Australia. The main territory of the country consists of two islands with corresponding names - the South Island and North Island . North and South Islands are separated by the Cook Strait . In addition, the country includes and 61 other islands , much less in their area . Country's total area is 268,680 square meters. km .
