Подобрать необходимый языковой материал для описания животного, выявленного по результатам анкетирования.   Are cats only our pets? Or?

  As we see cats are domestic animals which people love most of all. They do it not because cats are their pets. Perhaps, they love them for their peaceful character or silent sincerity and devotion. People consider that cats are symbols of organized household and welfare. That’s why there is a good tradition to let the cat enter a new house the first. So, cats are more than pets. They are friends who people trust to.

  Our observations

  There are different kinds of cats. They differ in color, habits, size, manners, behavior. They even have different preferences in food. But all cats like comfort and are “coach potatoes”. We’d like to say that there is something aristocratic in their behavior. And we forgive them their laziness. Thus, cats live happily in people’s houses and are the members of their families.

  Do all cats live a happy life?

  We want all cats to live an aristocratic life. But there is another side of their life. There are a lot of homeless cats which live nowhere. They have nothing to eat or drink. They have nobody to care of them. In big towns there are special places for animals where they can get food, places to live in. In our place there is no special homes for homeless animals. What should we do?

  OUR VOLUNTEER ACTIVITY

  What can we do for homeless cats? Firstly, we want to apply to grown-ups: Be resposible for those whom you have tamed. Secondly, we have organized a volunteer group to help homeless cats. We give them food and milk or water. Thirdly, we want other students to join us in our activity.
