  At present the British royal family is headed by Queen Elizabeth. Elizabeth Alexandra Mary, this is the full name of the Queen.

  As a child she studied constitutional history and law as well as art and music. In addition she learned to ride and acquired her enthusiasm for horses.

  During the Second World War she joined the Armed Forces, the first female monarch to do so, and helped drive and repair military trucks. Just imagine: the Queen driving or repairing a military truck!
