Dating back to 1880, the gallery has a large and varied collection of paintings, drawings, sculpture and photographs.

Today gallery holds the best works artists` collections in the North American country. Traditionally, the museum is located on country's capital - Ottawa.

Creators of the museum's goal is to support not only the Canadian Art. In the halls of the museum is the creation of the best masters of Europe.

For example,Maman (1999) is a bronze, stainless steel, and marble sculpture by the artist Louise Bourgeois.
